Why did you decide to participate in the program? What did you expect? Did you reach the goals you have set for yourself and your company?

Berlin helped us understand the German innovation ecosystem and identify business opportunities and areas to focus on. We were looking for business opportunities and business angel, we discovered the German Economy as is highly decentralised. Today, we signed with Volkswagen subsidiaries Porsche, Horvath Partner, and we have hired a country manager for Germany to transform the traction and the leads that we have into clients.

Did you have any program highlight? Which kind of information did you use right away after the End of the program?

We leveraged the program network and some of its contributors to have access to the UAE market. We are now a member of ABRA (Dubaï SME Innovators’ program), we are replying to RFP launch by local institutions like Smart Dubaï Office, we are teaming up with HPE UAE to build top notch data management solutions for local administrations.

Can you share with us any lessons learned?

The main lesson we learn is the strength of a good ecosystem.
SMEs and Startups can only survive if they are part of an ecosystem that sustains them.

What makes Berlin so special and which kind of contacts and networks did you meet during your stay?

Berlin is special because of the combination of 3 factors:
Culture and nightlife,
Talents and diversity,
Relatively low rent and communities.

It is the perfect environment to create a startup. But it may lack of business opportunities, and access to investors and funding might not be easy..

What did you achieve in Berlin since the end of the program?

We build a strong ecosystem of engineers and succeeded at getting the traction with large players in the insurance industry.

What will be your next steps?

Transform the current local leads.

What would you recommend to startups interested in participating in the program?

Get involved with the ecosystem. That’s where you can find business opportunities and synergies.

Anything else you’d like to share with us? 😊

The Start Alliance team is incredibly supportive. It is always a pleasure to meet, work, chill with them all over the world.
