Explore Vienna and its Booming Health Scene!
Future Health is a two-week program from October 8th to October 13th 2018 which intends to help international life-science, digital-health and med-tech start-ups to explore the health care and biotech sector in Vienna and meet potential partners and investors at two top industry events:
1. Health.pioneers: October 10th
The second edition of the ultimate gathering is back to showcase digital and exponential medical technologies that impact and transform the individual and public health cycle. Open innovation is the strongest catalyzing force in healthcare, and hence, we bring together decision-makers and innovators from the pharma, biotech, insurance and public health sectors to explore new ways to collaborate and pioneer.
2. The 6th Semmering Vaccine Symposium - Vienna Vaccines: October 11th - 13th
Biotech made in Vienna: »From Landsteiner to global products for infectious disease control« The goal of the upcoming symposium is to shed light on ecosystems that foster innovation in the health care and biotech arena, with a specific focus on infectious diseases. Using the Vienna biotech cluster as paradigm, the event will present companies, biotech players and products in various developmental stages. Many of these emerged from the Campus Vienna Biocenter, originally founded in 1987 by a joined venture of Boehringer Ingelheim and the University of Vienna, with the aim of creating a center of excellence in biomedical research.
